Is there a plum in the pi?

The Pi Search Page
This is great! The pessimist and cynic in me, though, thinks it would be just as easy to tell the user their string is at position (generate random number here) as opposed to searching an aribtrary piece of pi.

The guy claims he has made a database of pi figured out past the hundreds of millions of digits. He also claims that when you enter a search term (or number, as the case may be) that he searches pi for the occurence of the string you entered. I think he could just as easily tap his head five times, spin in a circle, type a random number on the keyboard and say "There! your string occurs in position 70,865,983. I told you this was great!"
